Our school was recently invited to be one of the exhibitors at the Makerspace Faire in the Learning and Teaching Expo 2019 held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, among the 19 participating primary and secondary schools. Our students and teachers worked together to build a marble machine which will be connected to other marble machines from other schools to showcase different STEM skills and the close connections between schools in Hong Kong. The theme of our machine was about “life”. We used old materials from school renovation to build a double helix pathways for the marbles and aquaponics with the aid of Lego EV3 bricks and Micro:bit. Our project embodies the infinite continuity of lives.
