Chinese as a Second Language
The Chinese curriculum for Non-Chinese students enables students to develop:
knowledge and understanding of countries and communities where the target language is spoken, its grammar and practical application,
understanding and make use of written and spoken forms of the target language, in a range of familiar and practical contexts, and for a variety of purposes,
the ability to communicate effectively in the target language through the written word and speaking, using a range of vocabulary and structures,
positive attitudes towards modern foreign language learning.
