Information and Communication Technology
The Information Communication Technology (ICT) program at Glee Path aims to equip students with the skills and confidence to integrate technology into their daily lives. By fostering proficiency in using various technologies, the ultimate goal is to help students pave a successful career path.
Glee Path offers STEM subjects to junior form students, teaching them a variety of application software to enhance their programming and technological skills. Glee Path collaborates with different companies, providing students opportunities to learn about AI, camera recognition, Python, Micro:bit, Excel, and more. After completing their S3 academic year, students interested in programming or hardware-related skills can choose ICT as their subject.
The ICT curriculum covers topics such as information processing, computer system fundamentals, the internet and its applications, computational thinking, programming, and social implications as part of the compulsory component. Through ICT studies, students can develop strong technical and computational skills.
For the elective component, Glee Path offers Elective A: Databases and Elective B: Web Application Development. Students gain foundational knowledge in SQL, HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript, allowing them to further develop their skills in various applications.
Students are thoroughly prepared and encouraged to pursue computer science-related subjects after graduating from Glee Path.
