Happy World Book Day!

Happy World Book Day!

The aim of World Book Day is to celebrate authors, books, and the power of reading. 23 April is a symbolic date in world literature because several prominent authors like William Shakespeare, Miguel de Cervantes and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega died on this day. To be literate is having the ability to read and write. Unfortunately, literacy is still a privilege we are still fighting for everyone to receive. Being able to read, to share our own voice and the stories of different communities is a power that should be enjoyed by everyone. Also, special thanks to our student librarians team for their hard work such as revamping the library and stocking up the library with a huge selection of new books over the summer.
