CHAU SHUK YIN

Ms. Chau was a Teaching Fellow under the scheme of TFHK since 2017. After one-year program, she realized that students lacked of chances to explore society due to financial difficulties. In fact, experimental learning was more important than academic achievement. Therefore, she was being inspired and aiming to influence students with significant impacts through working abroad in Australia. Ms. Chau aspires to make some changes globally and cultivate a positive mindset for student and arouse potential learning ability. As a teacher, it is meaningful because positive education has to be built up in the long run. From 2020, she participated in ‘Professional Support Scheme for Non-Chinese Speaking Students studying Chinese History’ organized by HKU. She then joined ARLE IFTE conference in Melbourne University with Dr. Shum Shiu Kee and HKU team in 2024 and share her insights about teaching.
