Tourism and Hospitality Studies
In the HKDSE Tourism and Hospitality subject, students learn the fundamentals of the industry, including its components, business principles, and customer service skills. The curriculum emphasizes sustainability and ethics, cultural awareness, and provides knowledge of the travel industry, covering areas like travel agencies, airlines, and hotel operations. Students also gain practical experience through projects and internships, while exploring current trends and innovations, ultimately preparing them for careers in tourism and hospitality.
In our school, students have the opportunity to design menus, participate in role-play examinations for hands-on experience, and visit campuses such as LiPACE and various hotels. In previous years, we've explored notable locations like Heritage 1881, the Ritz Carlton Hong Kong, and Shangri-La, enhancing their understanding of the tourism and hospitality industry.
